International Conference on Terrorism, Extremism and Mental Health Services
This conference will be of interest to mental health professionals – psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, nurses and managers – and also to counter-terrorism practitioners and academics in terrorism studies. The growing evidence that mental disorders are of importance in this area, contrary to the previous consensus, will be explored. More importantly, the conference aims to begin to consider the practical implications of this for practitioners and how multi-agency approaches may be helpful.
