Gurdip Rai

Gurdip Rai is a seasoned threat assessment professional with 17 years of experience in diverse corporate environments, specializing in proactive threat identification, risk mitigation strategies, workplace violence prevention, and crisis management. Before entering threat management, she gained over a decade of experience in Human Resources as a Business Partner and Employee Relations Investigator.

Since joining Google’s security team, Gurdip has been instrumental in operationalising a comprehensive workplace violence program and is more recently managing security investigations, forming part of the Insider Risk portfolio.  As a board advisor, she bridges corporate security needs with best practices in threat assessment. Her involvement with AETAP includes presenting at multiple conferences and advocating for diversity, equity, and inclusion within the sector.
